EHV Cable Line Compensation with P_Q Diagram
This paper deal with the transmission power in EHV cable lines. Because of high capacitive property of cables, its power transmission capability decreases due to its length increasing. Using compensators in different points of cable lines lead to increasing active power transmission ability and releasing capacity of this type of lines. Using P_Q diagram can be effective and helpful to optimum operation and determine compensation degree. Active power versus reactive power diagrams depicted by MATLAB software and compare with before compensated P_Q diagrams.
