Abstract

This study identified the impact of financial leverage on the profitability of fertilizer ‎companies of Pakistan. The profitability was measured by ROA. Financial leverage is taken as ‎independent variable. The data was collected over a period of 2012 to 2018 from the annual ‎consolidated financial statement of five companies which consists of 35 observations. ‎Regression analysis was used to examine the impact of financial leverage on profitability. The ‎result showed that financial leverage has a significant negative impact on the profitability of ‎fertilizer companies of Pakistan‎‎.
