N2  - Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have affected all sectors, including the agricultural sector. To realize agricultural and rural development, it is essential for agricultural actors to use ICTs. Farmers and agricultural experts are the main actors in this section. In this study, 206 farmers and 124 agricultural experts from East Azerbaijan Province were selected to examine factors affecting their use of ICTs. The results were indicated the purpose of using ICTs and job experience are the factors affecting using the ICTs by farmers. Access to ICTs, the purpose of using ICTs, and job experience were three factors that had affected using the ICTs by experts.
