Historically, it can be considered as continuation of the Middle Persian and Old Persian. Present perfect tense is derived from Simple past tense in Old Persian. Afterwards, Present perfect tense has led to past perfect tense in Middle Persian. Feyli Lurish has two types of past perfect tense. One of them is derived from Middle Persian and the other is like that in Modern Persian. Feyli Lurish is loosing what has inherited from Middle Persian. Feyli Kurdish or “Kurdi-ye Vali” as a northwestern Iranian dialect is closer to the Parthian.
