%0 Journal Article %T The Effect of Emotion Regulation Training on Self-conscious Emotion of Parents ‎with Autism Children %A Mahtab Yahyapour %A Marzieh Sadat Razavi %A Saeedeh Zomorodi‎ %J specialty journal of psychology and management %@ 2412-5695 %D 2019 %V 5 %N 2 %P 78-82 %X This study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the effect of emotional ‎regulation training on the self-conscious emotions of parents with autism children. In ‎this study, all parents with autism children were selected by cluster randomized ‎sampling method in schools of Tehran. The subjects were randomly divided into two ‎groups of control (15 couples) and experimental (15 couples) in a pretest and ‎posttest design with a control group. In the pre-test stage, all subjects were assessed ‎using a self-conscious emotions questionnaire. Then, the experimental group ‎participated in 8 training sessions in the form of emotion regulation training based ‎on the Gross model. After the completion of the training sessions in the ‎experimental group, both groups were re-assessed by the research tool in the post-‎test stage.
