Superluminal speed of Neutrinos observed at the OPERA experiment

Abstract

The OPERA neutrino experiment has measured the velocity of neutrinos and it revealed that the neutrino speed exceeds the light speed. In this article, this superluminal phenomenon can be possible due to the quantum tunneling through the light barrier, which predicts the theoretical value similar to the experimental result for light particles compared with electrons‎.
